Health and Safety Policies

Any organisation that employs five or more people, needs a health and safety policy under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act. The policy should include:-

  • a policy statement
  • a section on organisation defining health and safety responsibilities
  • arrangements to outline how health and safety is managed within the organisation

Clwyd Associates can develop policies to reflect the HSE's guidance (HSG65: Managing for health and safety) or to meet international standards such as ISO45001.

Clwyd Associates will help you to develop a bespoke and pragmatic health and safety management system reflecting the size and risk profile of your organisation - none of our systems are based on generic paperwork with your name just pasted in!

Case Studies

Clwyd Associates has helped a number of businesses develop Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, containing policy statements, clear listings of each individual's responsibilities for health and safety , and arrangements - detailing local procedures for the activities required to manage health and safety effectively such as risk assessment, managing contractors and investigating accidents and incidents.
